What comes next? I’m trying to keep the best of what we’ve seen and to leave behind the rest, though to not forget it. What does that look like? I’m not sure yet.
We have had the rich blessings of meeting incredible people who have redefined the possibilities of reconciliation in the Land, and it’s all thanks to Tantur Ecumenical Institute.
Visiting Yad Veshem (translation: “a place specifically to memorialize” – Israel’s Holocaust Museum) and wondering what it looks like to face up to our mistakes.

Definition: properly, divinely-loved; beloved (“loved by God”), i.e. personally experiencing God’s “agapē-love” in God, Christ, and one another.

We are learning how to love and honor the best in both groups while denouncing and working to end injustice wherever we see it. Sometimes, that injustice to call out might be within in our own hearts.
Though fear is easier to sow than peace, get your hands dirty and sow the seeds of peace.
